PARENT TO PARENT PROGRAM
Your contribution improves the lives of families whose children have disabilities and special health care needs.
The Parent to Parent Program of MN provides families with a connection with another parent who has a child with similar needs or experiences and provides:
- Information and assistance to help get needed services and supports including
financial, healthcare, educational and community life - Emotional support, understanding and acceptance so parents do not feel alone
- Encouragement and education to support parents in speaking up for their child and get needed services

MACS FUND
The goal of Mac’s Fund is to provide support for families and their children for special experiences in their community that may be difficult to access without some financial support. Participating in community activities meets both social and educational needs, as well as provide the opportunity to play and learn with peers.
Mac was a young man who loved sports, meeting lots of people and being in the community experiencing all that he could. His family, who started the fund in his name, wanted to continue that legacy for other children and youth with disabilities.
Monies can go to child or family needs that include things that add to the quality of life and social recreational needs such as swim lessons, camping fees, class fees, sporting equipment and events, for example.

We are always in need of parents and family members with lived experience to join our volunteer network. As a Volunteer Support Parent (VSP), you are a mentor whose gift is your time, personal experience, and emotional support.
