Family Voices of MN is offering a virtual Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Good Life Group for Minnesota parents raising children with disabilities.
Charting the LifeCourse is a framework that helps families think about what a good life looks like for their family member with a disability and identify the supports, relationships, and resources that can help make that vision a reality.
During this introductory Good Life Group, families will explore the foundational concepts of CtLC, learn about helpful tools, and begin thinking about their own family’s vision, goals, and next steps. Through conversation and shared learning with other parents, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on what matters most and how to build a life that includes belonging, connection, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for their child and family.
No prior experience with Charting the LifeCourse is needed. You are the expert on your child and family. Bring your experiences, questions, and curiosity. Together, we will explore tools that can help families plan for the present and future.

Time: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Location: Virtual (Zoom link will be provided before the event)
This is a two-part Good Life Group series. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions so they can fully engage in the learning, reflection, and conversations that build across the two gatherings.
Who is this group for?
This Good Life Group is for Minnesota parents or caregivers in a parent role to a child of any age with any type of disability or special health care need.
What if I have never heard of Charting the LifeCourse?
That’s okay! You do not need any previous knowledge or experience with CtLC to participate. You are the expert on your child and family, and Charting the LifeCourse provides tools to help families think about their vision, goals, and supports.
